How can we be of help to you?
This is the question that encompasses our ethos.
At Post Road WoodWorks, our passion for woodworking runs deep. We believe that every piece of wood has a story to tell, and it’s our mission to bring those stories to life through our craftsmanship.
In a world where most furniture and furnishings are mass-produced from uniform materials like plastics, composites, or tiny shredded pieces of wood fibers made to look like solid wood, we stand apart by crafting our pieces from the real thing – solid natural wood. While others may opt for plastics or composites, we choose the natural beauty and character of wood, celebrating its knots, grain patterns, and texture variations.
Our furniture isn’t churned out by machines on a robotic assembly line. Instead, it’s lovingly crafted with wood shop tools to shape and sculpt each piece. We take pride in the fact that our furniture proudly bears the marks of human hands, not the uniformity of automation.
At Post Road WoodWorks, we understand that each piece of wood is unique, and we embrace the individuality and character that it brings to our creations. From selecting the finest materials to employing both traditional and cutting-edge techniques, we ensure that every piece we produce is a testament to our dedication to quality and excellence.
Whether it’s a residential renovation or a commercial project, we’re committed to working closely with our clients to bring their visions to life. We believe that expertly crafted woodwork has the power to transform spaces, adding warmth, character, and enduring beauty.
Welcome to Post Road WoodWorks, where craftsmanship meets quality and creativity. We invite you to explore our portfolio and discover the timeless elegance of real wood furniture.
a little history about our fearless leader …
Some of you may know Steve from conference rooms around Westchester and NYC. You see, he was a successful real estate attorney helping clients with the purchase and sale of one of their biggest financial transactions in their lives. While he was great at what he did, and he loved helping folks achieve their goals, he felt a yearning to getting back to building things.
Turning back the clock a little further, Steve grew up working in a family business. His mother was a sharp-as-a-tack business woman and his dad was a German trained mechanic. Together, the family operated an independent auto repair business. After school, Steve would spend his afternoons at the shop working on Audis, Mercedes, Porsches, BMWs and VWs, as well as helping with the customers, invoices, accounting, taxes, etc etc.
So you can say that Steve has come full circle and is back in business building and creating which is where his heart is truly happiest.
